The Hen House Cottage

Hen House Cottage is a beautifully restored small barn in a picturesque rural setting 2 km from Dromore West, 10 minutes from the Wild Atlantic Ocean. Suitable for a couple or single occupancy, this charming, well-equipped cottage has a dutch-style box bed, shower and a small kitchen. It is totally self-contained - perfect for safe self-isolation in this unspoilt corner of the west of Ireland. Rent reduction negotiable for stays of 7+ nights - and ample changes of bed linen for longer stays.

Lough Arrow Cottage

This restored 100 year old stone cottage is not just a place to come, it's a place to return to. Its idyllic location offers peace and relaxation. It's 6 miles north of Boyle and approx 15 miles from Sligo. Lough Arrow is one of Ireland’s renowned brown trout lakes. Guests have their own private jetty at the end of the garden, fishing is free and our boat is available to hire at extra cost. Carrowkeel's Megalithic tombs, older than Newgrange, are just across the lake and wonderful to explore.

The Cottage

The Cottage provides accommodation for up to 3 guests. Close to Benbulben Mountain with views overlooking the Wild Atlantic Ocean, you will fall in love with our little bit of heaven in North Sligo. Staying in our cosy cottage allows you to immerse yourself in local attractions. Located on the same grounds as our family home, the cottage provides a chance for friendly interactions during your stay. The Red Fox Cottage

This is a lovely old style cottage attached to an Authentic local Irish Pub. It is self contained with front and rear entrances and parking. There are two open fireplaces. A great choice for a large family group, a group of friends, or a couple. Knock Ireland West International Airport is approx 30 mins away. There are woods, lakes and amazing beaches very close by. Ballina Town is only 8km away. Combine your stay with the perfect pint of Guinness and a chat with the locals, next door!

This is an ideal stopover on your Wild Atlantic Way adventure or if you're attending a wedding in Markree Castle or Castle Dargan hotel. My parents, Brendan & Sheila will be on hand to show you around and give you a real Sligo welcome!

Donegal 20km the other direction. Please note there’s a fee of €20 for a dog.
