The open-plan layout consists of a fully equipped kitchen and a double-height living/dining area. The bedroom has a King-size bed (200cmx150cm) and en-suite bathroom with shower. The second bedroom is a spacious mezzanine with two single beds. This mezzanine overlooks the open-plan living room.

The village is locally know as 'The Harbour', this stems from the 9th Century invasion of the Vikings who sailed as far as the Monastery in Glanworth. Owenie's Cottage is surrounded by medieval buildings and Old Mills . It is across the road from a castle with walks to the beautiful River Funcheon.

Our elegant and peaceful garden lodge has stunning sea views and is located a 5 minute walk from two long beaches, Garrettstown and Garrylucas. The renowned gourmet town of Kinsale is less than ten minutes by car and the airport is just a 30 minutes drive. The local area is a mecca for surfers, swimmers, cyclists and those who just want to go for long peaceful walks on one of the many local beaches. Adjacent to Co Cork, Kerry, Limerick, Clare and Tipperary. Great walking/cycling in the area. Cottage fully self contained. There is a large enclosed garden.
