We recommend an automobile, and have parking for 3 vehicles with 2 garage spaces and room behind for additional parking, including for a boat trailer. Most of our contact will be through email and on the phone. We are frequently in Bandon and our housekeepers are in town and any of us will be available in case of any problems. We have one of the most beautiful and picturesque beaches in the world. Our home is on the bluff overlooking the ocean with good beach accessat either end of the block. We are close to City Parkwith a kid's playground and friendly library. It's a short drive to Old Town's shops and restaurants, and about 5 miles south to Bandon Crossings' great golf or 15 minutes north to Bandon Dunes Golf Resort. Bandon, Oregon is a wonderful coastal retreat, with quaint shops and restaurants, a crabbing and fishing dock, and charter fishing. It has miles of lovely beaches, tide pools, wildlife, and pounding surf. There's lots to do: horseback riding on the beach, flying kites, kayaking through the Bandon Marsh, fishing for salmon in Coquille River, exploring the Sand Dune National Recreation Area (about a half hour drive), or serving as a base for day trips, such as south to the Redwoods National Park in northern California. GOLF: Some land is meant for Golf. Bandon, Oregon is one of those places. Downtown old Bandon is 7 minutes away where you can explore the farmers market, grab a coffee and/or enjoy fresh seafood. Bandon is well known for golf and some of the top courses are 10 minutes away. Once the day is done, you can enjoy telling stories around the fire pit, have dinner on deck and enjoy the sunset.

The Beach House @ Shelter Cove is located at end of a cul-de-sac road in a quiet neighborhood with complete privacy on the property with private beach access, and unobstructed views to the Lighthouse at Cape Blanco, 6 miles to the north. The property is protected to the south with an old growth forest and directly in front of the house is Shelter Cove, providing shelter from coastal winds and where the Orcas like to hang out. To make our 3 bedroom 2 bath home more accessible during the winter off-season months, we superhosts are offering it at a one bedroom rate, with the understanding that guests will only use the one upstairs master bedroom and the adjacent bathroom, kitchen and living areas. There is no view from inside the cottage, but a small patio with fire pit (weather permitting) is available with gorgeous views from outside the cottage. Cottage A is close to Cape Arago Hwy., and receives more road noise than any of our other properties.

Lighthouse Way Vacation House Rental

Our 4 bedroom, 2 .5 bath OCEAN FRONT home sits 50' above the Pacific Ocean and overlooks Cape Arago Lighthouse (decommissioned in 2006). Private stairs lead to a beautiful semi-private beach which faces Northwest, resulting in less wind. We are close to several Oregon State Parks. Golf is nearby HOUSEKEEPING IS NOT PROVIDED, you are asked to wash linens, dishes and clean the unit so it is ready for the next guest. No smoking or pets please.
