Our beautiful French style apartment is on the second story or our home. It has two bedrooms - if you need to use both please book for 3 people as there is an extra charge. Thank you. It is a sunny, spacious and comfortable apartment.. Access is private and you have sole use. Situated near Hunter Valley with its many wineries and the Hunter Gardens, Blackbutt Reserve, Watagan Mountains, Central Coast, Lake Macquarie, and Avondale University (all within a 3 to 40 minute drive). No cleaning fee.

The Cottage - Berry House

Nestled among old heritage gardens on 5 acres near Morpeth in the Hunter Valley, this gorgeous cottage is part of the Berry House Estate built in 1857. Cosy up and unwind, or explore the broader Hunter Valley. The self contained cottage (converted servants quarters), is your own little oasis within the broader grounds of Berry House. Use the pool and sauna, explore the gardens, collect some farm fresh eggs, feed the sheep or just chill. Delightful spot for kids with friendly cat and two dogs.

The home enjoys a commanding position on the Lake. Private access to the water is via stairs to a kayak shed and deck at the waters edge. Or relax on the rear deck of the house with stunning water views. Snorkel for a look at fish and old sandstone ballast from coal ships while eating oysters from rocks at low tide. Watch the sharp shells. (Water shoes, personal life vest, and flippers advised.) Walk the nature reserve and spot the swooping Owls. No fences so please bring extra-long dog leads. Use the kayaks and standup paddleboards while wondering if there is life on Mars! Our beautiful 2 bedrm home is one block from Lake Macquarie, a children's playground & boat ramp. Our 60 sq m "Haven" is tastefully decorated with modern decor, is warm & inviting. The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, cooktop, dishwasher & full size fridge. The bedrooms have plenty of hanging space & storage. The living area has an air con for the summer & winter. Bathroom has a bath & separate shower. A small amount of toiletries & kitchen essentials are provided until you can restock.
