The carpenter's cottage is decorated in vintage woodworking and logging tools that have been used for several generations in our family. Rainier has a rich history of logging, lumber and woodworking. Some tools have been found nearby. Enjoy a peaceful country setting with deer, birds, occasional bobcat, squirrels, raccoons, occasional elk, but is a short walk to town. Watch deer munch on apples and relax in the shade as you walk around our 14 acres or enjoy them from your windows.

3 miles to the Elochoman Marina Fishing Studio

Close to the Elochomen, Naselle and Grays rivers. 5 minute drive to the Elochoman Marina with boat launch that accesses the Columbia river. Kayaks are also available at the Marina. Great local brewery and unique restaurants and shops all around town. Moderate hiking trail across the street and throughout the area. Commercial ice machine is available upon request with property owner. Owner is on site but not connected. Parking for boat and truck available onsite. No smoking or vaping.

Studio apartment above a garage, BEHIND the pictured house. Private entrance, off-street parking; 325 sq feet including full kitchen, tub and shower, queen bed (memory foam), dining table, TV. Located on lovely Lake Sacajawea with its tree-filled park. Walk or bike the perimeter (3+ miles) or part of the lake. House is a short distance from the hospital on the opposite side of the lake. Many of our guests are "travelers," medical professionals working on short-term contracts.
