Cozy Lofted Lake Cabin, No Guest Fees

This private peninsula has been a Northwoods getaway for the past 75 years, formerly as a resort and now as a unique collection of just three cabins. This listing is for Cabin #1, a lofted cabin that sits right along the waterfront. Each cabin has it's own firepit, picnic table, grill, and Adirondack chairs. The 6-person barrel sauna, kayaks, and all other outdoor spaces are shared among all guests. We're just 15 mins. from Downtown, Mt. Itasca, Tioga MTB Trails, and the Chippewa Nat'l Forest.

Log Cabin on Caribou Lake/Chippewa National Forest

Full scribed renovated log cabin located in the Chippewa National Forest on the pristine Caribou Lake. Hand built in the late 1970s the cabin has two bedrooms, a large loft, full kitchen, fireplace, & walk out basement yards from the lake. Modern amenities in a rustic atmosphere the cabin has 1000 LF of shoreline on a private shallow bay. Close to hiking, skiing, snowmobile & ATV trails. something for all seasons. **Due to Minnesota Lodging Laws we are no longer able to provide a hot tub**

Lake Cabin

My lake cabin is on a private lake with no public access (Please note, I do not have a boat landing for guests to bring their own boats due to the steep hill). It is near numerous snowmobile/ATV trails, many beautiful lakes, and the Chippewa National Forest. There is 250 feet of lakeshore and over 30 acres of hunting land across County Road 65. The cabin is on over 4 acres; plenty of room to relax. There is a boathouse, dock, two kayaks, a small boat & motor, a fire pit and gas grill.

This charming 2-bedroom house offers a cozy and comfortable stay just minutes from some of the Iron Range's best outdoor attractions. Whether you're here for hiking, biking, fishing, or simply relaxing, our peaceful retreat is the perfect base. You're just a short walk to McKinney Lake, a few minutes' drive from the Arena, and right near the scenic Mesabi Trail—perfect for hiking and biking in all seasons. This is the lower unit of a duplex. Both units are available to rent together.
