The Lodge is a self-contained cabin with access to three acres of grounds and wild meadows attracting a wonderful array of wildlife including owls, red kites, deer, foxes and woodpeckers. Enjoy a large 45 square meter space with king sized bed, double sofa bed, shower room and kitchenette. Ideally suited for up to two adults and two children or three adults.

There is a private terrace and patio area to enjoy al-fresco dining or star-gazing.

Our cedarwood lodge has been designed and built for our family and friends to use when they visit. It is in a rural setting about 4 miles outside the market town of Cockermouth but is actually located in the Lake District National Park with stunning views over the fells, Binsey, Skiddaw, Bassenthwaite Lake and Keswick. The lodge has been designed to make the most of those idyllic views and is a retreat for anyone wanting to relax, unwind and enjoy our “world Heritage” status.

A shepherds hut situated on the edge of the Lake District overlooking the Solway Firth, offering guests all the experience of outdoorsy glamping while providing a warm and cosy home to retreat to if the good old British weather takes a turn for the worse! it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. If you are bringing your furry friends, please add when booking under number of guests and let us know. Theres a small fee per stay of £20 to cover the costs of a deep clean.

Abigail and Andrew offer a warm welcome to Ivythwaite Cottages, situated in the grounds of a traditional Lakeland stone and flint guest house in beautiful Windermere. The cottages offer contemporary accommodation. The Cranny is a studio apartment featuring a seating area, kitchenette, separate bathroom and outside seating area. It has Freeview TV and free WiFi.
