Serene pet-friendly lakefront cabin & EV charger

Our newly remodeled 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom family lakehouse is situated on a flat and partially wooded 1/2 acre with a sandy swimming beach on the calm and clean Lougee lake (SE of Pelican Lake). The split-level layout with separate sleeping areas (2 bedrooms and a bathroom) is great for a multi-family escape. Take in the dazzling sunsets from the deck, go exploring on the crystal clear 212-acre lake, romp in the snow, or drink some coffee by the fireplace while you watch the snow fall outside.

The Maynard Cabin, a Civil War era log cabin

The Maynard Log Cabin was erected by a homesteader after the civil war. We have moved and restored it and made it available for rent. It is off the grid, but it has a complete functioning kitchen, wood stove and sitting room downstairs. There are two antique beds with new mattresses upstairs. There is no electricity but the cabin is furnished with kerosene lanterns. The bathroom facilities consist of wash basins and outhouse. The cabin is surrounded by 40 acres of woods and meadows.

Crane Lake Cabin

Year Round Cabin. PONTOON AVAILABLE TO RENT FOR SUMMER 2026. Cabin sits 30 feet from clear water! Fish from dock or kayak provided. Rustic style cabin with all amenities! Clitherall Lake public access is 700 feet away for boat or jet ski launching. Also available: paddle board, pedal boat, some floaties, 3 fishing poles. Year round cabin open for winter stays also. Just 1 mile from the snowmobile trail. Ice fish on Crane Lake with a portable fish house or drive onto Clitheral Lake.

Treehouse (LOTR) Stargazer Skycabin

Our LOTR themed treehouse, along with our LOTR Wizard's Cottage, have been described as a "love letter to Tolkien himself." We have been featured on PBS and WJON radio. A manager lives on the acreage, about 200 ft. from the Wizard's Cottage and very far from the treehouse, which is located on the back part of the acreage. It has a fenced-in portion that makes up the Shire Garden. Down the hill is our nod to Mordor. Feel free to visit and dare to open the "Mor Do(o)r."
