Boutique Georgian Estate Cottage

Our beautiful Georgian estate cottage, dating from 1760, sits overlooking a half acre lake and surrounding parkland. Peaceful countryside, yet only 15mins from Chester city centre and many attractions. It offers three spacious double bedrooms each with luxury beds. The Master bedroom with superking 6ft bed, the second bedroom has a 5ft King Size bed and the third bedroom a 4'6" double bed. Furnished with 18th century antique furniture and opulent sofas. Cosy and homely, a hidden gem!

The Barn is a wonderfully calm space with original A frame beams and spiral staircase. The owners live in a thatched house on the same site but The Barn is totally private. We are on the A50 which is a main road between Knutsford and Holmes Chapel and is very convenient for M6 and M56 . Outside you can set on the deck and watch the wildlife in the lake. There is also a stylish 2 person wood fired hot tub. Conveniently located for Delamere Forest, 10 minutes from Tarporley, with an abundance of upmarket pubs and restaurants just a few minutes away. The Hide at Oakmere is our new addition for summer '25.

The Hut at Golborne bridge farm is a special place and is looked after by Mother and Daughter Karen and Natalie, with lake side views and wildlife on your door step and not to mention the spectacular sunsets and star gazing with our dark skies, it’s a great place to stay to relax, unwind and re charge. and we are dog friendly Just come to rest and relax or a take a short 5-mile trip in to the beautiful and historic city of Chester, Chester Zoo are also just a short drive away.
