The Stone House in Aspro (South Side)

The Southern Stone House is a fully-equipped traditional cottage with a spacious innter yard, in the village of Aspro, Chania. It was built in the late 1800s and renovated in 2020 by myself and my father. Our goal was to create a space that is simple, serene and evocative of older times, yet is completely functional in the modern sense. It's located 2km away from the area's main village Almyrida, where you can find some basic stores, restaurants, as well as a couple of beautiful beaches.

Asteri cottage is an open plan, bijou and beautifully designed one bedroom cottage. Perfect for couples and honeymooners. The boutique style interior opens up to large terraces for dining and relaxation. The ensuite shower room leads out from the calming bedroom to the private plunge pool, which is 2m by 4m in size. The pool can be heated with prior request. The cottage nestles between mature olive trees in an acre of beautiful Cretan countryside and is secluded from the main house.

Relaxing on the front yard near the mulberry tree, one can gaze at the Thodorou island not far away from the coast. The house can comfortably accommodate a family or a group of people in it's two separate bedrooms, a bathroom, an extra WC and a cozy living room.
