A cute cottage with a POOL on a working horse farm in the Texas Hill Country. Beautiful quiet setting close to Boerne, Fredericksburg shopping, dining and Wine Country, and San Antonio. River kayaking is close by and Comfort is an Antique shopping Mecca. The horses are friendly and complete the beautiful view out your front door. We are not a riding facility but love to share our beautiful farm with visitors looking for a peaceful holiday, convenient to lots of activities. Limit two guests.

Star gazing and sitting on our beautiful pavillion while you grill is only one of the reasons why you should book with us. Enjoy the homemade cookies and treats left by the host as a welcome gift with a cup of coffee in the mornings at the stone firepit. "So peacefull" is the feedback from past guests. Our place is just 10 minutes from Kerrville, 5 minutes from Comfort and 30 minutes from Hunt & Fredericksburg. We are located in the heart of the Hill Country with live water on two sides of the property. You’ll love our home as it has 10 Acres nestled on 600' of Guadalupe river frontage. Our manufactured home has 4 bedrooms and 2 baths with a large front porch, Party pavilion inclusive of hot tub, outdoor fireplace with fantastic couch seating, pool table, smoker, grill, outdoor dining for 12.

The Corner Haus

The “Corner House” was built in 1954 by my parents, LeRoy and Colleen Bohnert, who made it their home for 63 years. Their home was filled with love and laughter and was a magnet for the neighborhood kids to play. My parents loved to entertain family and friends. My mother always had homemade cookies for to serve the guests. My husband and I remodeled the house in 2018. The house has two bedrooms, one bath, a screened porch which is perfect for morning coffee or that evening glass of wine.

A cozy, convenient and peaceful spot on a working farm. This is a small apartment above separate garage with private entrance. Perfectly situated 5 minutes to Comfort, 25 to Kerrville, 25 to Fredericksburg & 20 to Boerne: Great for taking advantage of all the dining, shopping and attractions in the hill country. Also an especially good location for bicyclists & motorcyclists. One small house-trained dog that remains leashed while outdoors is welcome.

The Riverside Cabin was originally constructed in 1935 as a Hill Country get-away to accommodate hunting, fishing and river activities. It is located on the original route to the Old Spanish Trail on the banks of the Guadalupe River, within 1/2 mile of Comfort's Historic District. Situated on 10 acres, the cabin is a quiet, private retreat and a comfortable central location for exploring the Hill Country.
