Perfectly situated for walkers & cyclists to explore the nearby trails inc BikePark Wales trail. 30 sec walk to The Bush Inn Pub, 3 min walk to The Queen Inn (recently reported as the worlds 1st vegan steakhouse), both friendly & welcoming, serving excellent meals & craft beers.

We have the best of both worlds, stunning countryside & easy access to local amenities. We’re on Domen Fawr which is over 1653ft high. At the top you can see Pen y Fan & central Brecons. Heads of the Valley is nearby & provides great access across South Wales. Cardiff is an hour away by train. We are a quiet retreat, ideal for walkers, young families or couples wanting a relaxing, peaceful break. Pets are welcome but there are additional charges. Please ask us in advance as we have our own dogs.

Walkers Rest at The Hayloft - The Brecon Beacons

Nestled in the beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park, this recent addition to an (ex) 1800s pub is a cosy yet spacious self catering space. Opposite an old church with views across the valley it offers an an ideal getaway with walks in every direction and outdoor activities (canoeing, climbing, horse riding) further afield. Local events include: The Abergavenny Food Festival, Crickhowell Walking Festival, Haye Literary Festival, The Green Man. The village is two miles away with shops and pubs.

Falls Cottage, a beautiful three bed miners cottage that used to be two separate miners cottages originally built in the 1860s. Now known as “Falls Cottage” since around 1939. It’s set on the bank of the River Taff in mature gardens with close access to the Taff Trail linking Brecon to Cardiff Bay and within walking distance to the train station. This is the perfect cottage to stay if wanting to visit bike park Wales, Zip World and to explore South Wales with its excellent A470 location.

Crickhowell Cottage

Beautiful Grade 2 listed self-catering cottage in the lovely village of Crickhowell in the Brecon Beacons. Sitting on the edge of the River Usk. The cottage is light and airy with lovely period features.It has a bright dining area overlooking the garden and a fully equipped kitchen. The Annex Cottage - A country hideaway

Beautiful , private accommodation in part of our home with stunning views. The main bedroom has a king-size bed and a queen sized bed in the second . The bathroom has both a bath & a shower. The cosy sitting room has a log burning stove and a door to the shared garden. We provide a loaf of home made bread and marmalade plus butter, home made marmalade & jam, milk, tea and coffee. The Hall Inn pub is just 200 yards away and a short drive to Usk and Raglan and the Brecon Beacons

Hidden down a cobbled lane, this 18th century workers cottage has oodles of charm. An open fireplace, oak beams and traditional furniture allows you to step back in time and really relax. But there is still the benefit of modern life; wifi and a power shower! There are so many walks in the area: The Brecon canal, river Usk and Crickhowell are all close.
