Here you and your companion(s) can experience the quiet and relaxing life on a farm with plenty of adventure awaiting just around the bend. Sit and enjoy a sip of coffee or tea on the front porch while watching the cattle graze the pasture across the road next to a rustic white barn or venture about 3 miles to the largest privately owned lake in Madison County. The Black River Cozy Cabin is perfect for family vacations or a romantic get-away. With a secluded lake out the back door and two fire pits for roasting marshmallows and hot dogs, there are plenty of outdoor activities without even leaving the property. Of course, there is always more to explore in the area as well; including the Black River, which is just a short hike away.

If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway from the city or a night to rest on your way to wherever. Our cabin is also very unique with 3 full hookup campsites.

A cozy, two-bedroom farm cottage nestled beneath a wooded hillside. A kitchen, full bath, along with a washer/dryer ensure a cozy retreat. Glimpse deer feeding in the hayfield. Sip coffee as you watch the sun rise over the fields through the large front windows. Watch the hay being baled in the summer. Ride the gravel backroads and enjoy the rolling hills and farmland. St Francis River: The Blue Yurt and Hot Tub

Let your adventure begin inside the tranquil experience of this 20 ft yurt. Don't let the space fool you, the uniquely curved walls give ample space for a romantic getaway or a relaxing time with friends. The clear dome top provides a magical viewing experience from the queen size bed. The yurt is nestled in the heart of the Ozark Mountains. The expansive, romantically lighted, wrap-around deck provides a panoramic view of the St. Francis River where you can immerse yourself in the hot tub.

Secluded Cabin on BlackRiver/ Hot tub- NO PETS!

This is our family cabin. Our family farms soybeans, rice, and corn. We are too busy working during spring, summer, and some of fall to enjoy our cabin much. We are wanting to share our beautiful place for others to enjoy. It is located approximately 10 minutes from Poplar Bluff, MO. We live about 30 minutes away, so we can be available if needed. We have satellite TV and wi-fi. Cabin is pretty secluded nestled among the trees with the Black River flowing within 100 feet of the deck.

Observe wildlife sightings from the deck while soaking in the hot tub, sleep comfortably in a queen size pillowtop Serta bed on a Motion Air base, and relax as you enjoy the ambience of the fireplace.
