Lake Tekapo - with its hot springs and other tourist attractions - is just a half hour drive away. Escape your stresses and soak in the farm and mountain views from the deck.

Experience it all with a deeper sense of connection - to each other, and to our surroundings.

Delightful 1-bed barn with stunning mountain views

Come and enjoy a stay on our beautiful lavender and olive farm, with breathtaking mountain views. The Barn has 1 queen-sized bed, 1 sofa bed and private bathroom. There is a microwave, fridge and bbq, tea, coffee, crockery etc You can picnic in the gardens or say hello to the dogs, cats, sheep, & alpacas! Breakfast cereals, bread, jams, coffee, teas etc are provided . You can also treat yourself from our range of natural lavender products in our on-site shop.

Everyone is welcome here at Forest Bliss Cottage located 300m up on the Hunters Hills. We have long views east to , the sea at St Andrews to Timaru, to the Port Hills, Four Peaks, Fox Peak . Forest Bliss is a sustainable exotic forest surrounded by pasture lands. Built in 1905, and converted to 2 apartments in the 1950's, we live in the other apartment. The apartment is located in Central Timaru, being 5 minutes walk from the central business area and the Caroline Bay beach and facilities. Fully self contained, it suits a range of requirements from a single person staying overnight, to a family wanting a longer stay. Caroline Bay is home to a local small 'Little Blue Penguin' colony.
