È considerato un paese strategico, a pochi chilometri da Lugano e da numerose attrazioni turistiche (Splash&Spa, Lugano Lake, escursioni in Mountain Bike, Monte Tamaro, ecc). Vicino a molti servizi quali: supermercati, ristoranti, bar, bancomat, posta e farmacie. In pochi minuti a piedi si raggiungono i principali mezzi pubblici (autobus e treno) e entrate autostradali.

Distante 16 km dal lago di Lugano, 12 km da Bellinzona e 25 km da Locarno. Vicino c’è lo Splash & Spa Tamaro e il CMFG ARENA, centro polisportivo, a Sigirino.
