The beautiful Glen of Aherlow is nearby with great walks, cycle trails and horse riding. Tipperary and the trail is approximately 43 kilometres long. We are 5 minutes to Clare Glens, 10 minutes to Newport town and Murroe Village which hosts Glenstal Abbey, 34 minutes to Limerick city, 30 minutes to the scenic village of Killaloe,46 minutes to Shannon and 2 hours to Dublin Airport. The Swallow's Nest is a tiny barn which sits between Slievenamon & the Comeragh mountains, in the glorious valley known as The Honeylands but is only a ten minute drive from Clonmel, Tipperary's County town.

This lovingly restored traditional farmhouse with private courtyard is nestled on working farm in Dundrum. It is situated 12km from the famed Rock of Cashel and is centrally located for touring Ireland. There is a shop and pub 3km away and beautiful restaurants in Cashel and Tipperary town. We are in very close proximity to the Glen of Aherlow which plays host to beautiful scenery and hill walks. If traditional music is your thing then it can be found in abundance in many pubs locally.

Self catering cottage set at the foot of the Galtee Mountains in the Glen of Aherlow adjacent to the village of Bansha. Cottage was an old forge which was renovated recently. This 1 bed cottage has all the mod cons you need for a relaxing stay and is located c.2km from the village of Bansha . It is also less than 10mins to the towns of Cahir and Tipperary and under 15mins to the historic town of Cashel. It is also less than 5 mins drive to the famous wedding venue, Kilshane House.

Hawes Barn - 200 Year Old Cottage

Charming 15th Century Castle

Built in the late 1400s, Grantstown Castle has been lovingly restored and mixes medieval architecture with modern comforts. The Castle Is Rented In Its Entirety and caters for up to Seven Guests. The castle is comprised of six floors, connected via a stone and oak spiral staircase. There are three double bedrooms and one single. The castle has great battlements which are accessible at the top of the staircase and host amazing views of the surrounding countryside.

We are conveniently located, only 3 km's from Junction 26 on the M7 motorway. The self catering apartment is located over the garage and separate from the main house with its own private entrance and is accessed by stairs. There are lots of activities to enjoy in the area, hiking, kayaking and various other water sports. There are many excellent golf courses close by.
