Situated within walking distance of the village and offering a comfy bed, living area and courtyard, The Stables is the perfect place to explore Franschhoek. We offer a fridge, microwave, kettle, indoor and courtyard table and chairs. This space is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. As we have lived in Franschhoek for over 40 years, we are trustworthy hosts and know the area well. Great news is we have an inverter for lights and wifi to assist during load shedding.

Our free standing stylishly renovated cottage is situated at the back of the property and has it’s own private garden courtyard. Fully equipped modern kitchen, living room, bedroom with skylight, Q-XL bed & en-suite bathroom. The cottage has AC, Wifi, smart TV (Netflix, Prime vid), an alarm and 24 hr patrol vehicle in this beautifull, quiet street of the neighbourhood. We are a young, lively family of 4 and some related sounds might be heard. Easy access to mountain for runs, walks, mtb.

The studio boasts magnificent views of the garden and enormous rubber tree, creating a unique treehouse-like experience. You’ll have high-speed WiFi and solar power, perfect for remote working. The studio is a 5-minute walk to the nearest supermarket/midtown and a 13-minute walk to the old town with quaint restaurants, shops and cafés.

Guests have a private entrance,patio and barbeque area and shared use of the pool . There is parking on the premises, TV (with netflix ) and Wi-Fi. Laundry can be arranged at a fee. The cottage has everything you need to enjoy a holiday in the beautiful Winelands with your family or friends. The endless view of the Drakenstein Mountains spread out in front of you with the ever changing colours and shades is mesmerising. The pool in front of the cottage allows for a cool down when needed. The cottage itself is very unique, warm and friendly with mix of old and new.
