Umgeben von atemberaubender Vulkanlandschaft, dem klaren Sternenhimmel bei Nacht, der Kraft der Gezeiten, findet man Ruhe und Naturverbundenheit in schöner Wohnatmosphäre. Im ganzen Dorf darf man unbekleidet sein, FKK ist hier gern gesehen, aber kein Zwang. Es gibt einen Supermarkt in Charco und mehrere gute inseltypische Restaurants in Mala und Arrieta, wo sich auch ein langer, flacher Sandstrand, geeignet für Kinder und Surfer befindet. Eine geschützte Badestelle(200m) aus natürlichem Lavagestein, ermöglicht ganzjährig das Baden bei Hochwasser, ein Felsen(500m) mit Trittleiter ist für Schwimmer und Taucher der perfekte Zugang zum Meer. Mehrere Wanderpfade nehmen hinter dem Haus ihren Anfang. Der schönste führt direkt zum Ausflugspunkt „Jardin de Cactus“, des bekannten Inselkünstlers César Manrique.

Das El Refugio befindet sich an der Steilküste von La Matanza ca. 250 m direkt über dem Meer, in einer absolut exponierten Lage. Auf dem 2.000 m2 grossen Grundstück sind die 4 Wohneinheiten (Don Carlos, La Cascada,Delia und El Teide) eingebettet in den Garten mit Palmen und landestypischer Bepflanzung. Der Wellnessbereich mit Hallenbad und Sauna dient der Entspannung und dem relaxen. Eine Unterkunft für Urlauber mit gehobeneren Ansprüchen die Abseits vom Massentourismus Ruhe und Erholung suchen.

We are happy to share with you our unique cave home located in the heart of Anaga Rural Park, awarded in 2015 as UNESCO Biosfere Reserve. The settlement is divided in 4 caves that serve as 3 double bedrooms and a living room with sofa bed wich allows 8 people sleeping in total. Kitchen is fully equipped and you can also enjoy the BBQ and terrace with amazing views. The infrared sauna is absolutely great after a day spent in nature since we are in the heart of well knowed hiking trails.
