A cozy Karoo farm style self-catering cottage for 7 guests featuring a queen-size bed & en-suite bathroom in room 1. Queen-size with en-suite in room 2. Room 3- 2 single beds and a 3rd added on request & an en-suite. Other in-room facilities include Electric blankets, Fans, Heaters, Hairdryer, Mosquito nets, fully equipped kitchen, and a lounge area with a cozy Fire place. We are situated in the hart of the Authentic Nieu-Bethesda, and within walking distance from all iconic attractions.

Honeymoon Suite

Luxury suite with open-plan kitchen and lounge (fireplace) area and separate bedroom king size bed and private bathroom with shower, situated in a small poplar forest in a quiet village near the Owl House. Furrows Lodge is walking distance from the local pub, restaurants, Owl House, art galleries and the local brewery. All suites have complimentary coffee or tea which can be enjoyed with homemade rusks. We have "braai" / barbecue facilities and a dedicated smoking area. Free Wi-Fi.

This picturesque farm appeals to the adventurous spirit as there are endless opportunities for hiking, cycling and general exploration! The Gats River meanders through our breathtaking kloof, where rock pools make for a fun dip once the rains have come. It's a nature-lover's paradise!

Zarca Prickly Pear

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. Come home to an authentic Karoo-experience and enjoy total privacy, a luscious garden (shared garden) for warm summer months to enjoy and a bbq-area to create memorable moments with someone special under the starry skies of our unspoiled Karoo. The Zarca Prickly Pear has a kingsize extra length bed, with only the highest quality bedding to ensure a good night’s rest. The fully equipped kitchenette really has all you need.

Leopard's Den Remote Campsite

An isolated campsite 22km (50 minutes) from Graaff-Reinet . Surrounded by nature, birds and game. Situated in a valley among the mountains of the Camdeboo National Park. The rustic campsite has a sleeping deck which shelters a boma containing, a fireplace. There is an outside braai, cold shower and flush toilet. A place to relax. Completely isolated. A single campsite. Raised vehicle 2x4 or 4x4 required. Get away from it all when you stay under the stars.

Charming cottage in the Middle of Town

A beautiful Karoo cottage with all the comforts you need for an overnight stay. On a quiet cul de sac in the Centre of town. Three Bedrooms (2 with King Size XL Beds), Aircon, two modern bathrooms (one with shower, the other with bath & shower). There is a fully kitted kitchen with Nespresso Machine, a separate living, dining & outside area with a Webber Braai. An outside shower with a view to the stars & Spandaukop gives you the perfect Karoo feeling.

The Tradesman

The Tradesman Shop is a quirky and historic unit with a beautiful courtyard and braai area. It is the last Tradesman shop that is still connected to the main house and dates from the 1850’s. It’s still has the original “brakdakkie”-ceiling so don’t get a fright when a piece of historic dust comes loose from the ceiling. The large courtyard at the back is a treat. Please note the unit operates on a gas geyser.

Pienaarsbaken Cottages Unit 1

Pienaarsbaken Farm Cottages are situated at the foot of the Lootsberg Pass, between Graaff-Reinet and Middelburg. Only 6km off the N9 and 38km from Nieu Bethesda. Unit 1 has two bedrooms, comfortably accommodating a family of four. This unit is equipped with a shower and bath tub. Enjoy the outdoor braai area and swimming pool in the leafy garden. House trained pets that sleep in their own beds are welcome.

We renovated the property extensively, whilst paying respect to the heritage and character of the home. The interiors have been beautifully curated and designed, with top quality bedding and utilities.

The Karoo Glamping Dome
