Guests have use of an entire suite / a light, spacious bedroom in our annexe, just 10 m from a 16th century Elizabethan cottage in the very heart of Stamford. (High St. is barely 1 min walk away but the street is quiet, as it is an access only road) The annexe has a private entrance with 2 secure locks. Parking - free on site. Private en-suite bathroom & shower. Wifi, TV, microwave, kettle & light breakfast are provided (cereals/fruit) & guests are welcome to use our cottage kitchen & laundry.

Orchard House is a large family home full of character providing bed and breakfast accommodation in the quiet village of Steeple Bumpstead. The nearest town, Haverhill, is 3 miles away while Cambridge and Stanstead airport are only a 30 minute drive away. 5 private bedrooms share 2 bathrooms, both with bath and separate shower. Our new Garden rooms are light and calming, backing onto fields.Deer, pheasants and barn owl’s can be seen most days.There is a patio at front and at the back where enjoy the view and also a BBQ available to cook your own food. We also have a Scandinavian BBQ HUT where our guests are welcome to spend a private evening of a cost of £20..There is lots of wildlife to be seen here and deer in our woods. Shops are 10 min away but a nice pub/restaurant 4 minutes by car. The trundle bed is 6ft !

We are within easy access of the A1 between Peterborough and Cambridge, yet our location is very rural, surrounded by open fields. There is secure parking in the driveway of the cottage with a locked gate. We offer a great choice of cooked breakfast, which can be enjoyed in the traditional dining room, or open the door that leads out to the breakfast patio with views over the garden and fields beyond.

It is a five minute walk to the town centre with its great choice of shops, pubs, restaurants etc. Public transport links are also nearby and we are a two minute walk to the local Waitrose store. Continental breakfast provided.
