Situated on a working farm in the heart of Highland Perthshire, Burnside Lodge is a well equipped, comfortable and cosy log cabin built in the traditional Norwegian style with a turf roof, a log burning stove and an expansive deck. The lodge has a view of Ben Vrackie and overlooks a burn running through the garden to the River Garry. It is ideally placed for retreat and relaxation or active exploration of Scotland, and is in “Big Tree Country” on the edge of the Cairngorm National Park.

The Cabin is a self catering one room chalet that contains 2 single beds, table, chairs, armchairs and a kitchen. An enclosed bathroom with shower, toilet and sink is included. Water is provided by the Cromdale hills via filtration system. The Cabin is fully insulated and heated for a cosy environment. Entertainment consists of TV, video & bluetooth boom bar speaker. Placement of The Cabin is close to the back of the house which provides privacy for guests. WiFi is available.

My unusual holiday home is part of the unique Bridge House built over the River Ardle in k1881. It has recently been renovated to a warm and cosy standard! Charming original features including stone spiral stairs, traditional Scottish timber clad walls, brick and pine flooring. All mod cons including wifi & smart TV. Quiet, peaceful and rural location. ‘ Burgher Chapel- Converted Church’

Newburgh, Fife is an historical town. In the 18th century linen was woven in weaving sheds and cottages which still reflects in its architecture today. The town is sandwiched between the river Tay and a hillside providing ample walks and other sport activities. Many visitors start on the ‘ Fife Coastal Walk’ from this location. The chapel has excellent wifi. The town is self sufficient with shops, post office, chemist, doctors, dentist, garage, gallery and its very own distillery!
