We have the beautiful Morgan Jones’ Park on our doorstep through which you can access the rear of the Castle grounds. A scenic walk around the grounds to the front of the Castle will bring you to the town centre where you’ll find plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. We have 3 local train stations that take you into Cardiff City Centre, and bus stop outside the door to Caerphilly Station.

It has a large balcony off the main bedroom where you can enjoy the superb mountain view. It is close to country walks, golf courses, cycle trails and country pubs.

It is just 20 minutes to the Beacons and nestled into one of the prettiest wooded hillsides in the area. The house itself is pleasant, warm and welcoming, providing everything you could need for your stay. The lower floor has oak floors, while the upper floor has toasty wool carpets for a cosy stay. The Nook & Cranny @ Berthlywd

The spacious Nook and Cranny suits families, city sightseers and activity adventurers. Set in a rural spot, but close to the A470 and Quakers Yard Train Station, on the South Wales Metro. Halfway between Cardiff City Centre and Pen y Fan, we are ideally suited for a weekend in the bright lights of Cardiff, or the stunning dark skies of the Beacons. Locally we are within walking distance to several cosy pubs that serve food, a convenience store and the Taff Trail Cycle Path.

Ty Pentref - Village House

Ty Pentref is nestled right in the heart of of Cwmcarn village, very close to the beautiful Cwmcarn Scenic Drive, mountain biking trails and Twmbarlwm walks. We are less than 20 miles from Cardiff City. Within a 1 Hr drive, you can reach Cardiff Bay, Wye Valley, Black Mountains, Brecon Beacons (Bannau Brycheiniog) Forest of Dean, Bristol and Hereford. A little further, approx and hour and 20 mins you can visit beautiful beaches and towns in the Mumbles and The Gower.

The property is around 30 minutes away from Cardiff and 30 minutes away from the Brecon Beacons National Park. There is also a train station nearby.
