We’ve recently (2021) renovated an apple store and stable in our garden into a beautiful space. You can spot the restored apple picking ladders and exposed bricks from the original building. Separate to our main home, and having wonderful views, guests can visit nearby Fountains abbey, Brimham rocks, Grassington and lots of other lovely places of interest, as well as nearby walks. We have used high quality fittings throughout from Loaf seating, beautiful light fittings, Sophie Conran crockery, SMEG kettle and toaster, as well as featuring art by a local artist David Stead.

Thompson’s Cottage sits within the garden of our family home, with convenient parking available just next door at the village hall. This cosy, modern space features a bright open‑plan living area with a comfortable king‑size bed, seating for two, a well‑equipped compact kitchen with a pull‑out dining table, and a stylish bathroom with a large walk‑in shower. Sawley is a peaceful village within the Nidderdale AONB, offering a wonderfully central base for exploring the area.

Hope Cottage is in a peaceful village in the perfect location to visit the many attractions North Yorkshire has to offer . Parking is available outside the cottage, and the train station is a mile away. Whixley has an excellent local pub The Anchor Inn , other local eating establishments are within easy driving distance. Generous discounts are on offer for long term let’s (28day or more .) Please note that charging points are not available to charge electric cars .
