Nestled in open countryside next to our vineyard on the outskirts of Bishop's Stortford, an ideal base to explore East Herts & North Essex or visit London & Cambridge. The Cowshed is a recently converted barn sleeping 5, complete with fully equipped kitchen, dining area and comfy seating around a woodburner. Egyptian cotton linen and black out blinds in all bedrooms. Outdoors enjoy the wood burning hot tub, feed the chickens, take a stroll round our lake or discover the zip wire in the wood!

The Annexe is separate from our house with its own entrance. Basic items are provided i.e. Milk, Tea & Coffee etc. Free parking during your stay. Airport transfers available. Prime town centre location, two minutes walk to numerous shops, bars & restaurants, ten minutes walk to the train station with great links to Stansted Airport, London & Cambridge. Tea and coffee making facilities and a fridge and microwave included but there is no actual kitchen. There is a parking space next to the garage which is usually available. Should this not be free, there is pay & display parking opposite.

This is a delightful characterful cottage full of original features. Close to all local amenities. There are some beautiful walks in rural countryside nearby. Stansted Mountfitchet station is a three minute walk with trains to Stansted airport (8 minutes), Cambridge (30 minutes) and London Liverpool Street (40 minutes). M11 motorway is 2.5 miles away. A variety of pubs,restaurants, takeaways just a short walk away. There are also shops for groceries nearby.

Lovingly built, my shepherd’s hut is wonderful for a short break away from it all. Located in the rural village of Stocking Pelham in Herts, the surrounding area is perfect for country walks or cycling. Nearby pubs offer great beer and fabulous dining. A short drive away you have various attractions including Henry Moore, Audley End, and the lovely old market town of Saffron Walden. Cambridge and Newmarket are not too far either.
