The cabin will sleep 4 people but is best for 2 people. Gas log fireplace, central heat and air, washer and dryer and a small kitchen with new appliances. A BEARY RELAXING Cabin is located in the mountains of Spruce Pine, NC. There isn’t a coffee shop on every corner, just a slower pace that we all need. Only 10 miles to the Blue Ridge Parkway with Beautiful Overlooks and Hiking.. A BEARY RELAXING Cabin is located a 1/2 mile from the Toe River for fishing and kayaking. The Penland School of Crafts is 3 miles away and the beauty of the campus can not be beat. We are halfway between Boone and Asheville for all that these two towns offer.

The Yummy Mud Puddle has a great view of the Black mountains. Nearby are restaurants, family-friendly activities, live theater, contemporary crafts, hiking, river sports, art, and music. You’ll love the Puddle because of the peace and quiet, the deck, the comfy beds, and the nature. All are welcome including kids and well behaved dogs under 75 pounds. John and I live down the hill from the rental and are both full time artists. Our gallery and studios are open whenever we are home.
