It's only a 1 min walk to the lake with partial lake views from the cabin. Canoes and kayaks provided. 2 day min, 3 day min for any Holiday creating a 3-day weekend.

The town of Mineral is a small island of private cabins surrounded by a sea of National Forest and National Park lands. An adventurer's dream. You could walk out the backdoor of the cabin, into the forest, and arrive at the Lassen Visitor Center without crossing a single paved road, or seeing another human. Just bears.

There is spotty cell service, but you can text via wifi. If you need a fast strong connection please consider that this may not be the place for you. Note: Waterfall can be heard inside cabin.
