We have ample space for parking a boat, so you can easily explore the lakes. Additionally, our home is in close proximity to the Stonewall Jackson WMA, which offers 18,000 acres of public land for hunting and fishing. Come and experience the great outdoors in WV while staying in our welcoming home!

Relax in the hot tub, hike, Bring your ATV’s/UTV’s - ride for miles down local backroads. Plenty of space to park your boat or trailer. Public lands nearby offer fishing, hunting, hiking, kayaking, etc. 20 minutes from the popular Stonewall Resort. (NO WIFI, AT&T & Some other providers do have service

Stay in the masterfully crafted Lemuel Chenoweth homestead along the rippling Tygart river. Built in 1857, this 2nd floor suite offers antiques furnishings, a private entrance, master bedroom, bathroom, kitchenette, and mud room. It has a queen bed, dresser, large porch with views of the river, a clawfoot tub with shower, sink, toilet, and a well stocked farmhouse kitchenette with a double induction cook top, sink , fridge and more. This spacious, newly remodeled 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house is a perfect place to sit back, relax and enjoy the wildlife in peace. 3 bedrooms include 1 king, 1 queen & a full size bed. Kid friendly with a highchair and travel crib. There are plenty of board games, cards, dice, coloring books, crayons and a puzzle so you can spend much needed family time together!

Wintertime readiness: When we have snow, 4-wheel or All-wheel drive will be best. Watch the weather. Un plug at Tree House. The cabin now has Wi Fi. There is also a DVD player w/ DVDs. A 15 minute drive takes you to Thomas, WV for food and art and music. Five more minutes and you are in Davis for Blackwater Falls State Park. A few more miles down the road find two alpine ski areas and White Grass Ski Touring Center.
