Step inside and you'll find a snug and cosy retreat with King sized bed, log burner and underfloor heating. Outside, enjoy the dark skies from the patio and the private fire pit area.

Located in a quiet cul du sac in the historic market town of Kendal with convenient access to the M6, Lake District & Yorkshire dales. The cosy cabin suitable for a maximum of 2 adults and 2 children is a 20min walk to town centre along the scenic River Kent or a 4 minute walk to the fantastic Romney’s pub with its fabulous food & fine ales. There is parking available & a private outside decking area. Don’t want to walk ? We are a 30sec walk to the bus stop 2 minutes from the property.

The Snug, Kendal - South Lakes

The Snug with a stylish interior, is a self-contained one bedroom, ensuite annex, attached to our family home. Located a 25 minute’s walk from Oxenholme Train Station and a 20 minute’s walk to Kendal town centre . The Snug is 15 minutes walk from the Brewery Arts Centre and right opposite Kendal Leisure Centre where lots of events are held. A short distance away from a variety of pubs and cafes . Kendal is 9 miles from Windermere which makes it a great base for exploring The Lake District.

Lyth Valley View is a newly refurbished annexe with its own entrance and private patio/garden area overlooking the picturesque Lyth Valley. This eco-friendly Brigsteer self-catering cottage is adjoined to the Owners property, yet it benefits from a private and secluded patio area with views of the Lyth Valley. It comprises a fully-equipped open-plan kitchen, dining area & a living area with a log burner and a large glass sliding door that overlooks the slate-paved patio and the valley.

Apple House - an exquisite bohemian retreat

Apple House is a quiet retreat where you can completely unwind. With beautiful changing views to the wildlife garden and pond, the kitchen garden and the hills beyond. Standing in the gardens of Hylands, a fine Arts and Crafts House, to the West of Kendal. It is decorated using quality local materials and skills of local crafts people. It's 12 minutes walk to Kendal town center's many independent shops, cafes and restaurants and 5 minutes walk to our local pub 'The Rifleman's Arms'.

Honeypot Cottage, Broadoak Cottages, Underbarrow

Honeypot Cottage is a converted stable on a small private country estate in the Lake District's Lyth Valley, with private drive, ponds and fields, perfect for exploring the area, well located, rural and peaceful. Abundant wildlife and walks aplenty, the local pub is a short stroll away down a country lane. The unique upstairs open plan living space has a cosy log burner, dining area and compact kitchen and takes full advantage of the scenery with access to the garden via a balcony.

The Chicken Shed at Knowle Top

The Chicken Shed at Knowle Top was newly built in 2019 on the ruins of an old barn and decorated to the highest standards of industrial chic. Situated in a most unique location, high on the Ribble Valley side of Lancashire’s iconic Pendle Hill, it sits surrounded by sheep pastures where hare and fox come to say good-night. Despite this rural idyll, we’re only a five minute car drive from Clitheroe, one of the North-West’s nicest market towns. The views will take your breath away!

All you need to cook your own meals-except food. 4 miles fM6 Jct. 36, 4 miles Kendal 12 miles Windermere. Owners live on site if advice or help is needed.
