Unsere Einzimmerwohnung in einer kolonialen Scheune hat ein Landgefühl, ist aber eine 10-minütige Autofahrt von der Innenstadt von Hartford entfernt und auf halbem Weg zwischen Boston und New York City. Es gibt Wälder auf der einen Seite und vom Wohnbereich aus blickt man auf einen Hügel, wo man eine Weile sitzen oder etwas Zeit auf der privaten Steinterrasse direkt vor der Tür verbringen kann. Es gibt Strände und Casinos innerhalb einer Autostunde.

Windy Top Cottage ~ Ein romantischer „europäischer“ Kurzurlaub

Das Windy Top Cottage ist ein altes Steingebäude, das 1932 von H. L. Bitter, einem wohlhabenden Hartford-Geschäftsmann, erbaut. Diese Gegend von Granby war ein Favorit der Hartford-Elite für einen Ort zum „Sommern“ im frühen Teil des 20. Jahrhunderts. Das Ferienhaus war die Unterkunft für das Hauspersonal, während die Familie in North Granby war. Mit einer Höhe von 970 bieten wir saubere, frische Landluft!
