Very private and cozy dome in a rare location. If you truly want to meet the Icelandic nature and weather, then this is the place for you. It has a fireplace, panorama sauna and not a person in sight. A superb place to see the northern lights or enjoy the midnight sun. You have to work for your reward by walking for about 10 minutes to the dome from the parking at the farm. Its a good place is you want to get off the beaten track and still be close to the main attractions like the golden circle.

Our newly built second home is located in Útey 2, by the Laugarvatn Lake. Útey 2 used to be an old farm and is around 720 acres (320 hectares) and have been in the family for generations. Most of the south side of Lake Laugarvatn is part of the land so you can have complete privacy. You can take a long walks in private, go paddling in our double seated canoe, relax in the hottub with tens of km. of unobstructive view, watch the birdlife and even try your luck fishing for trout.

Come and stay at our beautiful and cozy cabin right in the Golden Circle!! We called our cabin Ganymede after Jupiter's moon, the biggest one in our solar system! Ganymede is nested in a calm, cozy cabin area right by Thingvellir national park and just a 10 minute walk to the beautiful lake of Thingvellir. Surrounded by stunning nature and forest, a playground for children, and lots to explore in the surrounding areas. A brand new hot tub has just been installed ( July 2026 ). You run the hot tub with fresh hot water each time you use it, no chemicals.

Laugavellir Tower Suite

This memorable place is anything but ordinary it is a tower with four floors and an amazing view. You can see the northern light from the top and have the breakfast with an amazing view but there are no cooking facility. It is a horse farm and you can see horses from the top floor and a hot spring in the middle of the river.
