Historic Etna Iron Works

Welcome to one of the oldest dwellings in the county. This home dating to ~1790 was the residence for the grist mill manager. The cozy space is a 1 bedroom, 1 bath home that is tastefully decorated and complete with all the amenities you need for a quiet and peaceful getaway. Sit on the porch listening to the birds, or down by the creek relaxing to the sounds of the creek. The home is on a quiet country road with little traffic. The owners house and former company store is right next door.

Cottage in Warriors Mark

Our Cottage was originally the Barber shop here in Warriors Mark. It was eventually converted into an efficiency apartment. I completely renovated the Cottage over the summer of 2024. The space is very comfortable and inviting with everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. The space is perfect for a couple. The loveseat easily converts to a full size bed 51x72 inches. It is comfortable for one adult or 2 children. PLEASE let me know in advance if you will need the sofabed set up.

Get "lost" to nature in this luxury house for two, located a 5 minute drive from Shy Beaver boat launch. Atop a meandering mountain road, this unique chalet has treetop views, a 30-foot-high living room, and a open bedroom with a king bed. Lots of natural light filters in from skylights and windows. A spiral staircase adjoins both decks. The lower level has a relaxing hot tub with a privacy wall and patio furniture. A cable railing incloses the deck for an unobstructed view of nature.

With three bedrooms, two full baths, fully stocked kitchen, multiple living areas and outdoor dining areas, the cabin has plenty of space for everyone. Very strict NO SMOKING rule.

We have extensively remodeled this special home and brought it forward from the 1960s while maintaining its character, including the original wrought iron railing and open vaulted living room. We've also incorporated some elements of Altoona's history into the home. Tackett's Farm View Cabin, Near State Park & Lake

Our cabin is tucked in a peaceful corner with a beautiful view. Minutes away from Prince Gallitzin State Park, and Glendale Lake. Many trails for hiking, Lake for swimming and fishing, and all the park offers. Near State game lands, Rock Run atv park, La Ferme Rouge, and towns if you need to restock. Walking distance to Pirates Cove Pub and Grill, which has great food, drink, and Ice cream.
