Uttara Phalguni ist eines der Nakshatra-Häuser auf einer Höhe von 7.000 Fuß ASL mit einer angeschlossenen Toilette. Das Zimmer verfügt über eine private Veranda mit einem fantastischen Blick auf die Berge. Es gibt zwei Restaurants in Gehweite(300 m) .Mukteshwar-Tempel ist 6 km von der Hütte entfernt und der Bhalugaad-Wasserfall ist 3 km entfernt. Der Ort ist auch als Obstschale von Kumaon bekannt, da es eine Reihe von Obstplantagen in der Gegend gibt. Die durchschnittliche Temperatur im Sommer beträgt max. 15-20 Grad und es schneit im Winter.
