Located 10 minutes from the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, this gorgeous 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath log cabin (comfortably sleeps 7) is perfect for family vacations, & relaxing getaways. Located on 42 acres, this custom-built cabin has all the ammenities of home, while offering access to hiking trails, ATV & biking trails, water fallls, fishing lakes, beaches & all that the lakeshore has to offer. Guest can explore Grand Island or take a sunset cruise out of Munising Bay, 5 miles west of the cabin.

Private entrance out back, winter access thru the garage. Laundry facilities in the garage. Driveway parking. Well behaved dogs are welcome - see rules. Fenced backyard with fire pit. Full kitchen for cooking your own meals, or walk 2 minutes to Woods Restaurant. The private deck offers views of beautiful Mackinac sunsets! The loft style bedroom has a queen bed and a second bathroom. There is also a sleeper sofa for an extra bed option. No pets allowed. Bike rentals available on site.

Fire pit for bonfire with wood for purchase on site. TV with HIGH SPEED INTERNET. Most likely will see and or hear a wild animal.

This cabin offers a perfect sense of tranquility, where you feel like nature and wildlife are your only neighbors. Forget your worries in this spacious and beautiful space. It has the feel of being alone on the lake, very secluded at the end of Wawaushnosh Drive. Rainey Reserve is just at the end of the road, and Smith Creek is just around the corner, a beautiful serene place to kayak. The kitchen is fully furnished.

The Cabin

Our cabin is conveniently located directly across from the groomed snowmobile trail. Centrally located for easy access to Tahquamenon Falls, Pictured Rocks, the Soo Locks, and Oswald's Bear Ranch. Midway between Lakes Superior and Michigan with many inland lakes. New flooring and a full size fold out couch were added in the beginning of 2025. We can now accommodate 5-6 guests.
