No. 11 is located in the heart of the old town of Matera, the Sassi. The breathtaking view has been featured in several films, such as James Bond, the Passion of Christ and Ben-Hur. This historical house has stunning vaulted sandstone ceilings and rooms decorated in Scandic-Italian style. A spacious bedroom, en-suite bathroom and a small lounge area with private entrance from the street. A fantastic location but not for the faint hearted, lots of steps, but it's worth it. Bring your sneakers !

Quercus: Appartamento con terrazza

"Quercus" è una costruzione risalente al XIX secolo, situata nel centro storico di Alberobello, all'interno della magnifica cornice dei trulli (tipiche costruzioni locali patrimonio UNESCO). L'appartamento è composto da due camere matrimoniali, ognuna con bagno privato e indipendente, un angolo cottura. Una delle due camere è dotata di un terrazza da cui ammirare i trulli del "rione monti" e "aia piccola". Quercus vi farà assaporare l'atmosfera e i sapori di una terra unica nel suo genere.

La piccola casa in grotta ha un ingresso indipendente. è una piccola camera ipogea ricavata totalmente all’interno della massa tufacea . Le grotte hanno un loro particolare microclima che viene regolato da impianto di riscaldamento in inverno e deumidificazione quando necessario. Nello spazio esterno, arredato con tavolino e sedie, è possibile incontrare e fare amicizia con la mia gattina e con il mio cane, un dolcissimo Border Collie . Soggiornare in una grotta è un esperienza.

La mia casa è una tipica abitazione dei Sassi di Matera, in parte scavata nella roccia ed in parte costruita in tufo. Gli spazi sono stati arredati con un accenno di richiamo alla storia dei popoli che hanno vissuto per secoli in queste grotte, senza togliere nulla al confort che la modernità ci ha donato. A vostra disposizione avete un ambiente caldo e pieno di atmosfera dove potete sentirvi a casa, come nella casda dell'infanzia dove profumi e colori vi riporteranno indietro nel tempo.

Posta in pieno centro e nei rioni Sassi di Matera, questa abitazione del 1800 conserva la struttura originaria del fabbricato ma è dotata di tutti i comfort moderni e di aria condizionata. E' piena di luce e offre una fantastica vista sui Sassi godibile dal caratteristico balcone dove poter cenare o fare colazione. Sono disponibili a pochi minuti a piedi parcheggi su strada sia gratuiti che a pagamento e parcheggi custoditi a pagamento che per l'intera giornata costano da 10 € a 25 €.
