An ideal base to explore the nearby Giants Causeway, Dunluce Castle and Bushmills Distillery, and close to the Game of Thrones, Dark Hedges and Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge. Golf is only a short drive to Royal Portrush, or Ballycastle's own 18 hole course.

The Pod on the Hill

Situated approx.2.5 miles outside the village of Port Ellen, the POD offers peace, quiet and relaxation after exploring the distilleries and the joys of the Island. Port Ellen and Laphroaig can be seen from the POD which overlooks Kilnaughton Bay. The path to the three distilleries on this side of the Island starts in the village, taking you first to Laphroaig then Lagavulin , finishing at Ardbeg where delicious food is available. The golf course is just a minute away and village pub and selection of eateries within walking distance. Dogs are welcome - first 2 dogs free.
