The 'Outhouse' is attached to the deck and is a separate space to hangout, watch movies & use the PS4. There is everything you need at the Mermaid Cottage!

Enjoy sunrises/sunsets from the pier! Access to kayaks, canoe & 2 paddleboards. Enjoy the ospreys dive bomb for fish, an occasional dolphin, & other birdlife.

Pet friendly and centrally located within the town of Beaufort, this rental space is one of a kind! Bike or walk to shops, restaurants and attractions downtown. We provide the bikes! Beaufort has many special tours, historic sites , events, and fun things to do! After a busy day , relax on the top deck where the view is spectacular with sightings of wild ponies and egrets. It's a short walk, bike ride or paddle to historic Beaufort Waterfront Restaurants, museums, bars, tour operators, novelty shops, and ferry boat transportation to Cape Lookout and Shackelford Banks. When traveling with pets we accept behaved pets for a 10.00 nightly charge per pet .
