The beach is between 25 to 30 miles away and there are numerous beaches within that radius, including Hilton Head and Hunting Island. Of course, the cottage is right in front of a beautiful and peaceful coastal marsh. We’re also not far from Parris Island if it’s time to celebrate your special Marine! Stylish Renovated Chapel -Close to Everything!

We’ve renovated our mid-century chapel into a spacious , wonderfully outfitted vacation rental. The Chapel is exceptionally comfortable and very central-but still peaceful. Walk a mile along beautiful waterfront Bay Street and you're downtown amongst galleries, restaurants, bars, and shops and the 4 blocks in the other direction puts you on the Spanish Moss Trail, perfect for biking and running. For USMC graduations, Parris Island is an easy 6 mile drive- we are convenient to everything!

The Cottage at Burroughs

The Cottage at Burroughs has recently been completely renovated. A short walk or bike ride to downtown Beaufort restaurants and shopping, it is also just steps away from the Spanish Moss Trail and a short drive to Parris Island. The Cottage has space to park your boat trailer and is one mile from the Downtown Marina and boat landing. A scenic drive through our barrier islands will take you to the beautiful beaches and trails at Hunting Island State Park - complimentary guest pass provided.
