There is plenty to do and see in the area. It is a peaceful and private place with absolutely everything you need to hand. The views and the scenery are stunning. The cabin is completely self contained set in its own garden. There are great walks and drives nearby. Or just spend time, sitting on the deck gazing at the magical view.

Caiseal Valley Cabin is the perfect getaway. Situated down a quiet country lane, it is a haven of peace, calm and tranquillity. Just 2.5 km from the Cork-Skibbereen road (N71), the cabin is in the heart of stunning West Cork. 10 min from the Warren Beach in Rosscarbery, 20 min from Skibbereen and Clonakilty and 25 min from Lough Hyne marine nature reserve. An array of restaurants, beaches, surfing/kayaking spots, hill walks, archaeological sites and a whole lot more are all just a few mins away

This snug, grass-roofed eco-cabin offers panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean. Enjoy a warm Irish welcome, mountain walks on the Beara Way or snorkelling through nearby reefs. Sample local cheeses, lamb, fish and seafood or stoke up the wood-burning stove, have a glass of wine and and savour the peace and tranquillity! Word of warning: we are VERY remote, (1km off the road down a rough track). With almost no public transport, own transport (eg car) is highly recommended - see Getting Around!

West Cork has much to offer : For walkers and sightseers explore the three peninsula's : Mizen, Sheeps Head and Beara, as well as the islands incl. Sherkin and Cape Clear. For culinary lovers check out quirky cafes like Budds (Ballydehob ) or 2 * Michelin Custom House (Baltimore). There are many beautiful beaches with boat trips and sailing/surfing/kayaking available

Relax and enjoy the ebb and flow of the tide overlooking Croagh Bay located just inside the iconic Fastnet Lighthouse. Situated a 10 minute (10km) drive from Schull the location is ideal to immerse yourself in all the sea and the Wild Atlantic Way has to offer (swimming, kayaking, fishing, sailing) and enjoy the West Cork walking trails, including Barleycove Beach and Mizen Head.

Bootshaus am Sandstrand

Unser Bootshaus liegt direkt am Sandstrand (sehr viel Sand bei Ebbe und weniger bei Flut). Bestimmt einer der wunderschoensten Plaetze in ganz Irland, ist hier oben im Wohnzimmer zu sitzen und den Wellen, Booten und blinkendem Leuchtturm zuzusehen. Hier koennen auch Eltern entspannen, waehrend sie beruhigt ihre Kinder am Strand spielen shen koennen. An Regentagen und im Winter, wenn es stuermt und die Brandung gegen die Strandmauer und den Leuchtturm bricht, ist es fast noch schoener!

Douce Mountain cabin is a charming self contained little house situated at the foot of Douce Mountain. There is a living space with a stove and a kitchenette on the groundfloor . A ladder leads the loft with 2 beds. It is a very quiet place surrounded y nature. Our other guesthouse is about 100 metres further down . Our own farmhouse is about 500 metres away. It is ideal for someone looking for a very quiet place to relax and immerse themselves in nature.

The Hideaway at Three Castle Head is truly unique property situated at the head of a beautiful valley with not another house in sight and surrounded only by wild nature. The views from the cabin are breathtaking with Dunlough Castle in the near distance, the lake beside it and the wild Atlantic ocean stretching off to Beara Peninsula across the water.
