If you are in need of a quiet escape, this setting is for you. This little place has been a summer cottage for years. It has recently been renovated with a new kitchen, living room and bathroom to make it extra cosy. The view from the front deck looks out to ‘Digby Gut’ which is the entrance to the Bay of Fundy. This is an ever changing view and a delight to experience. The 2 bedrooms each have very comfortable new queen mattresses to sink into after a long day of exploring The Annapolis Valley.

Stone’s Throw Cottage, century old, recently modernized, 550 sq. ft. inside, 400 sq. ft. deck, on the LaHave River and it’s own oceanfront, private pebble beach. Located on quiet Pentz Road, on the beautiful South Shore. Two minutes from famous LaHave Bakery, enjoy a morning coffee, a harty lunch or fresh baked treat. Nearby historic LaHave ferry for a 20 minute drive to Lunenburg, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. 15 minutes to Nova Scotia’s best white sand beaches, Risser’s, Crescent, & Green Bay.

This restored seaside guest cottage is an ideal getaway place for couples. Wake up to the sound of the ocean's waves, and enjoy the beautiful sunsets in the private hot tub overlooking the Bay of Fundy. Take the stairs to the beach to beachcomb for treasurers. A great place to use as home base while exploring the Annapolis Valley, hiking to Cape Split or visiting the many local breweries and wineries.

The Beach House

No cleaning fees. The Beach House is less than 15 min. from Digby & The Pines Golf Course. It is the perfect base for your whale watching trip, exploring Annapolis, Kejimkujik, Bear River or Digby Neck, but make sure you leave time to relax on the deck. Watch the fishing boats come and go, you may even see whales. Comb our rocky, cobblestone shoreline for sea glass or that special rock. Swim our cold, clear water if you dare! Digby is a fishing port so there is always lots to see there too.
