Our guest house is ideally located close to downtown and even closer to the Colorado River in a quaint and friendly neighborhood. Quaint & Comfy Private Guestroom & Bath.

We have a cute guest room attached to our garage adjacent our back porch. It’s a small space but has all the essentials and is super comfy! It has a full size comfy bed, a comfy chair, dresser, desk, small refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and 36" flat screen TV with Amazon Firestick. The bathroom has a small shower. We include lots of little extras to make your stay enjoyable. We live in the Historic area of downtown Bastrop. Our home was built in 1916 by my husband's great grandfather.

Private LOST PINES LOFT, Close to Austin/Bastrop!

Our private upstairs loft is welcoming and spacious and altogether separate from our main home (above our detached garage) and overlooks our beautifully tranquil, heavily wooded 5 acres. It is very similar setup to that of a hotel suite. Enjoy two private decks and quiet country living. We are only five minutes from The Hyatt Lost Pines resort. Close to Austin yet just far enough away. If privacy, peace, and the best value in the area are your thing, then you've found the right place!

Mile to Lake + Stock Tank Pool + Fire Pit

Get away from it all but still stay close to everything. Lounge in hammocks in the pine tree forest. Drink coffee on the back deck while looking for birds. Play foosball or board games in the game room. Grill out in the backyard while playing corn hole. Float in the stock tank pool. Walk or drive a mile to the lake for kayaking, fishing, miniature golf, and miles of hiking. Great for families, family friends, or couples. Located 20 miles east of Austin and 2 miles from the LCRA McKinney Roughs Nature Park. Our 20 acres is a quiet spot conveniently close to the city. This is a one room air-conditioned & heated cabin with a twin & a double bed & a small kitchen. Happy Horse is Elegant Camping/Glamping: the darling outhouse and hot water shower (enclosed but open to the moon & stars) are only a few yards away from the porch. BBQ grill & picnic table a few feet from the porch. Hot water sink nearby.

The front patio space overlooks Main St & the back of the building offers a private covered parking spot.
