You can access the water via a set of stairs leading from the property to the shoreline. End your days on the deck and keep your eyes peeled for seals!

Great for a couple just wanting to get away and visit our surrounding areas. We are located 2 miles into Ellsworth. Go shopping for your groceries or visit local restaurants, we’re just outside of town. Visit Lamoine Beach & State Park (6 miles) or visit scenic Mount Desert Island, the village of Bar Harbor (19 miles).

Several access points to Acadia National Park less than 5 miles away; downtown Bar Harbor is a 25 minute drive. The cottage is ideal for couples or families with supervised children.

The perfect location, tucked off the main road with easy access, puts guests a 10 min. drive from downtown Bar Harbor, and a 6 min. drive from the Acadia National Park entrance and visitor center. This property is located just a few minutes walk from the Free Acadia Shuttle bus route(seasonal). Ledgewood Grove includes a full-size washer/dryer, WIFI, satellite TV, outdoor gas grill, & much more!

We request anyone who stays on our property be fully vaccinated. Thank you for helping to keep our community healthy! This stand along cottage is on the same property as owner's home and includes 1 parking space. 2 bedrooms with full bath, laundry, and a fully stocked kitchen. House abuts Acadia National Park; Seal Harbor Beach and carriage roads are easy walking or biking distance! Only 12 minutes to Bar Harbor and 5 to Northeast Harbor.

Craney "Tree" House near Acadia

Craney House is a comfortable place with character—good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids). We affectionately call it our "tree house" because of the jungle that used to obscure the house. We love Otter Creek for its quieter access to what Acadia has to offer—close to the Park Loop Rd, carriage and hiking trails, but it's also only about 5 miles away from Bar Harbor and 10 miles to Seal Harbor.
