All are welcome and the entire house and facilities are yours during your stay.

Foulis Gate Lodge is a Highland cottage on the Gates of an historic, private, Highland estate with its own drive. The secluded location offers direct access to extensive gardens. The nearest amenities are 2miles in Evanton or 5miles to the ancient Burgh of Dingwall. Foulis Castle is a 15 min walk away from the Storehouse Restaurant & Farm shop, which is situated on the shore/beach of the Cromarty Firth (Mon-Sat 9-5pm). Secluded Ptarmigan Yurt

For the first time since we installed it we are opening for the winter months as there are a lot of people around and the weather at the moment is quite warm. To do this we have installed a small oil heater which will keep the temperature up even when the fire is not lit. Once you light the fire it will be really cosy and warm. There is also an electric blanket on the bed for those colder nights. We do reserve the right to move you to the house if the weather becomes inclement.
