Part of our family home, but separated by a wall and a lockable door. Friendly atmosphere. Our place is good for couples and solo adventurers.

A cosy mid-terraced fishermans cottage, now with a wood burner, located only 1 minute walking distance to the gorgeous Shandwick beach. Ideal for a peaceful seaside holiday retreat. Shandwick is one of three small coastal communities that along with Balintore and Hilton that make up the seaboard villages. Logs: we provide a bag of logs for each stay per week.If you require extra logs, I can provide contact details of logs providers locally. Well behaved (not too large) dogs also welcome.

There is plenty of nature to enjoy all around and a nearby forest/ beach walk. We have tourist attractions, golf course, shops, restaurants & a gym all within 3 miles. We are 2 miles off the NC500 route. Note: If coming by car from as far as London give yourself lots of time, a night elsewhere en-route would make it less rushed and more enjoyable.

Located on the NC500 and conveniently only 4 minutes to Tain, this rural and secluded wooden cabin has 2 bedrooms both with super-king beds. The living area is open plan with access to the front covered decking. The lodge is bright, welcoming and warm with the added benefit of a large wood burner for cosy evenings. It’s a great base for exploring the Northern Highlands.

A perfect base for exploring the north and west coast of Scotland. Great place to view the northern lights. Well behaved dogs are welcome and must be kept on leads near livestock. The Coach House at Manse House

Make some memories at this unique and friendly place. Originally the Coach House of the 18th century listed Manse House, the property was sympathetically converted in 2004. The property lies in the gardens of the Manse in central Tain. It has great access to the main visitor attractions of the Eastern Highlands and makes a great place to relax or to use as a comfortable spot from which to explore the Highlands. Pets are welcome.
