Our two cabins Dogwood and Holly are located on a quiet, wooded 10 acre retreat that is 8 miles from Athens. Our special feature is a spring fed creek that flows year round and has it's own micro climate that is perfect for native ferns, mixed hardwood forest and dogwoods. We have provided a nature trail for bird watching and exercise. Recently we designed and constructed a beautiful pond with three waterfalls and a deck overhanging the water with chairs for enjoying our private paradise.

Great patio overlooking a beautiful view. It is a great place to sit and have a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. You can hear birds sing or watch an occasional deer stroll by. Beautiful Lake Athens is just around the corner and The Boathouse Restaurant. We are near The Texas Freshwater Fishery.

Enjoy a cup of coffee on the shaded back porch or the sunny front deck. Undercover parking for two cars and more on the driveway makes this a comfortable spot for a girls weekend at Canton. The tree house is located on our 15 acres of wooded property with approx. 1 mile in walking trails in the woods on the property for exploring and observing wildlife. Our guests frequently notice our deer and other woodland creatures who share this space with us.
