This self-contained accommodation is yours for the stay. The property is centrally located in the valley of the Gartempe, southeast of Poitiers, and is really a hidden treasure.

Maison de 120 m² à Saint Benoît à proximité de Poitiers, proche du Futuroscope (20 minutes), situation centrale pour visiter la région (vallée des singes, monuments historiques...). Balades en bord de rivière avec son point de vue depuis le viaduc à Saint Benoît. La maison se compose de 4 grandes chambres d'environ 17m² avec salle de douche et wc. Un espace cuisine ouvert avec le séjour d'environ 40 m². Parking facile sur le terrain non clos. Draps / serviettes fournis. Équipements bébé.

Relax in this charming and spacious house with south facing sun terrace. This traditional stone built villa sits in the centre of the village opposite a 17th century church, with free parking and EV (Sorégies) charging point. The local bar/shop is a two minute walk. Villa Lierre is 5 mins from a large supermarket at L’Isle Jourdain. The Circuit du Val de Vienne is 15 minutes away by car. There are historic towns to explore nearby, and the river Vienne is a short walk through the village.

Ce gîte retrace des souvenirs de famille depuis 1966, l'histoire d'entrepreneurs dans le secteur des transports, dont les locaux ont été transformés pour accueillir de nouvelles activités. Il a été rénové en 2022, en reprenant les codes de l'automobile en déco, passion de mon père en lien avec ses activités avec le Circuit du Val de Vienne. Il peut accueillir autant une famille, un groupe qu'une équipe d'entreprise. Ses points forts : accessible de plain-pied, confortable et facile à vivre.

Old Water Mill

Old water mill, built in 1850. Many of the original features of the mill have been left & been used to create a place of charm & character. Situated on a twelve acre lake, within a listed & protected zone by Natura 2000. You can eat your breakfast on the terrace next to the lake, in a very beautiful & tranquil setting. The only noise here comes from the birds, wildlife & the sheep in the surrounding fields. Owner lives on site in adjacent farm house. Many local bars & excellent restaurants.

Op loopafstand (ca.600m) de rivier Le Gartempe waar genoeg plekjes zijn om een frisse duik te nemen. De fietser kan ook zijn hart ophalen. Voor de mountainbiker (eventueel beschikbaar), tourfietser en recreatiefietser zijn er ontelbare mogelijkheden door de bossen, langs de rivier of door het landschap. Voor de wandelaars onder ons zijn de mogelijkheden te over. Voor de paardrijders is er een manege op een paar kilometer. Voor cultuur en ontspanning in de buurt raad ik Ivo's reisgids aan.

The cottage overlooks and accesses the river, where swimming is possible. The hamlet is very peaceful, and the water is a great place to relax! A walk can be enjoyed from the cottage, along a path along the Vienne River. You can reach Chauvigny on foot or by bike along the trails. There are a few chickens on the grounds.
