Old Mains Cottage is a traditional character dwelling that has been extensively modernised. Originally it was the laundry of the mansion house that once stood in the adjacent woods. The cottage stands in its own private grounds & is accessed via a private road. There are two dedicated parking spaces at the front of the property. The Tower, Thornton Castle

Traditional & relaxed accommodation in the 16th century Scottish tower of our family home. Accessed by a spiral staircase your space comprises 2 bedrooms for 4 people over two floors in a private wing of the castle with bathroom and small sitting room. Full breakfast included. Set in the foothills of the Cairngorm National Park, this is an ideal stop off between Inverness and Edinburgh. Balmoral Castle, Dunnottar Castle, Glamis Castle and St Andrews are nearby. Tennis court available.

Our caravan is situated within the Haughton Country Park with plenty walks and near by playparks. It is 1 mile walk to the centre of Alford village with plenty available shops and take-aways. An ideal location for exploring upper Donside, Deeside, Whisky trails, Castle trails and ancient monuments nearby. Please note this is a holiday let only not for work stay.

Waterfalls, lochs, caves, heathery mountains and top cycle trails. There is lots of local history to delve into and some beautiful quirky cafes/restaurants near by.

A very comfortable, beautifully appointed Shepards hut with the most stunning views over the Tay valley. An ideal location to relax, reconnect and explore the magic of Perthshire. We are lucky enough to have ancient woodlands for you to explore, full of incredible wildlife, we also have a wild swimming pond for those looking for a cold water fix - look us up under cotwild The Shepards hut sleeps 2 adults & 2 children under 12yrs on a sofa bed sleeping bag. 2 well behaved dogs welcome.

The Farm Bothy Cottage

The Farm Bothy cottage offers luxury accommodation on a working sheep farm. It is self-contained, within a modern steading/barn conversion. We live in the other wing of the house. You can explore the farm, woodlands and our garden. Ideally located for visiting nearby castles and distilleries the area also has great cycling, golfing, fishing and horse-riding. Our local pub is a mile away. The nearest town, Alford, has a pub, restaurant, shops, supermarket, parks and museums.

Couthie Cooshed in the Cairngorms

Lovely holiday cottage in the Cairngorms for two with open plan kitchen living area, cosy sleeping gallery, contemporary shower room and private patio. The Couthie Cooshed is cosy well appointed and is set in a private garden on the edge of fields. This barn is a wonderful place to relax and unwind in the country surrounded by fields and wildlife. Beautiful views from a great vantage point on Bennachie this rustic cottage is ideally located for hillwalking, sightseeing or simply getting away from it all. Only 10 minutes drive from Inverurie and a short walk over the hill from the pitodrie house hotel which offers luxury dining and a cozy bar. There is also a riding school nearby and of course all the walking trails are on your doorstep. We are pet friendly but the garden is not enclosed.

A place to get away, relax and enjoy the natural surroundings! Nochty Studio is a eco cabin located on the edge of the small village of Bellabeg in the Cairngorm National Park, in close proximity to Ballater, Braemar, Royal Deeside and on the edge of Moray. The Studio is on the east side of Glen Nochty enjoying open views of the Nochty River and the Doune of Invernochty. The village itself is a 5 minute walk away, with a local shop.

Relax at our well-equipped and comfortable 2 bedroom Cottage, overlooking a fantastic views of Morven and the Cairngorm National Park in the heart of Royal Deeside. A great place for walks and cycle routes. For the more adventurist cyclist we have Aberdeenshire's only purpose built Mountain Bike Trail Center, only a short ride away. In the nearby village of Tarland,there is a 9-hole course for the golf enthusiast.
