This is a friendly little seaside village with excellent bakeries, supermarkets, fish & chip shops, pubs, restaurants. Nearby there is a golf course. Home provides open plan living with beautiful log burner and smart tv with a fully equipped kitchen. 1st floor there is a king size bed to large bedroom and 2 single beds to the smaller rooms. Swinburne Castle

Swinburne Castle is perfectly situated within its own beautiful parkland and gardens. Traditionally decorated, parts of the house have tremendous history dating back to the 12th century. The east wing is extremely comfortable and private, and don't be perturbed by the stone steps leading down to the vaulted cellar. A delicious continental breakfast will be provided in your rooms. There is ample parking and a tennis court you are welcome to use. lovely footpaths from the house for keen walkers.

Ulgham Grange Holiday Cottage, Northumberland

Beautiful rural cottage in the small village of Ulgham just outside Morpeth. This old railway house is situated at the Ulgham Grange Railway crossing within the beautiful Northumberland country side with access to lovely walks straight out the door. We have the pleasure of seeing classic steam engines such as the Royal Scot travelling passed from the comfort of the upstairs bedrooms. Very clean beaches of Cresswell and Druridge bay are easily accessible by car and bicycle.

Off street parking and large south facing garden. 5 minute walk to the Train Station, easy access North and South of the region via Train, or driving on the A189 and A1. Riverside walks, Woodhorn Museum, The ancient market town of Morpeth and the seaside town of Newbiggin-by-the-Sea are all a few minutes away.

Beautiful cosy Shepherds Hut with views over the local countryside. Our bespoke hand made, wood fired hot tub offers a unique bathing experience. Enjoy the natural warmth of the water, heated and ready for your arrival. This does need to be booked in advance, a minimum of 24 hours notice is required at a charge of £40. If your stay is longer than one night we can empty, refill and reheat for a small charge of £15.00 per night.
