Der Dibru-Saikhowa-Nationalpark ist einer der Orte, die mit einer reichen Sammlung von Flora und Fauna aufwarten, von denen viele bedroht sind. Es ist eines der wenigen verbleibenden geschützten Stätten in der Endemic Bird Area der Assamese Plains. Der Dibru-Saikhowa-Nationalpark ist ein Flussinsel-Nationalpark und einer der 19 Biodiversitäts-Hotspots der Welt. Dieser Nationalpark liegt 12 km nördlich von Tinsukia in Assam. Von den sieben Teilen des Parks ist eines ein Feuchtgebiet und der Rest ist hauptsächlich mit Grasland und dichten Wäldern bedeckt. Das Tierleben, das in ihrem natürlichen Lebensraum zu sehen ist, umfasst königliche Bengal-Tiger, Hoolock-Gabbons und Leoparden. Es beherbergt auch einige beschränkte Arten wie die weiße Holzdecke, Bengalenflorikanisch, Kleiner Adjutant-Storch, geflecktes Pelikan, Weißen Langusten, Pallas's Fish Eagle, Swamp Partridge, Jerdon's Babbler, Black-breasted Paprotbill und Striated Grassbird. Marsh Babbler, Swamp Prinia und Yellow Weaver. Es gibt keine Straßen und daher keine Dschungelsafari oder Elefantenfahrten zum Wandern im Park, sodass du den Park nur mit dem Trekking erkunden kannst, obwohl ein Bootsservice verfügbar ist, der dich zu verschiedenen Orten bringen kann. Guijan Ghat und Saikhowa Ghat sind die Eingangspunkte des Nationalparks.
