Our quaint 160 year old fisherman's cottage, coupled with its incredible seaside location makes for a perfect relaxing and romantic getaway. We will do our best to meet you, but if not it is self check in. Enjoy the peace and quiet. Heartened in the cooler months with central heating and wood burning stove.

Foulis Castle Gate Lodge

Foulis Gate Lodge is a Highland cottage on the Gates of an historic, private, Highland estate with its own drive. The secluded location offers direct access to extensive gardens. The nearest amenities are 2miles in Evanton or 5miles to the ancient Burgh of Dingwall. Foulis Castle is a 15 min walk away from the Storehouse Restaurant & Farm shop, which is situated on the shore/beach of the Cromarty Firth (Mon-Sat 9-5pm). My place is good for NC500 travellers, couples, and business travellers.

Situated at one end of the village within walking distance of pub, restaurants and shop. Perfect spot for watching sea eagles, otters, seals and sunsets. Magical and inspiring!

The Strawbale Bothy is made from simple, natural materials; wood, clay, straw and lime, there are no nasty chemicals, no concrete, and where we have had to use plastic, it is to an absolute minimum. Built just for two, feel free to kick off your shoes and coorie in after a bracing walk in the sea air or though misty glens.
