The cottage is part of the Old Water Mill, dating back to before 1700, so it's a site steeped in history. The market square and award winning high street are just 400m away, and the beautiful Belper Park Nature Reserve is only 200m. There are numerous traditional pubs, restaurants and country walks in this Derwent Valley World Heritage Site. It's a perfect place to have a relaxing break, or even a more active one, as charming Belper sits on the edge of the Peak District (train 10mins walk).

Hazel Lodge is new to Sam’s Derbyshire cottage. This beautiful lodge is set on a working farm between south wingfield and crich. The lodge has 2 bedrooms 1 double and twin rooms, the bathroom is spacious with a shower over the bath. The open plan living kitchen and dinning area is great for entertaining with a 40” smart tv. The hot tub is very private with looks down the valley great for star gazing! There is a big decking area with table and chairs for long nights sat outside.

A few years ago, we converted our barn into a light and clean holiday home, ideal for families or a group of friends. Set in the village of Holbrook which has great access to both the city centres of Derby and Nottingham or the beautiful countryside within the Peak District national park. Holbrook also offers a local shop, and two real ale pubs, all within easy walking distance
